Oshkosh EAA AirVenture Airshow Reception
Connect with members over BBQ and drinks on Monday, 22 July, at the Third Annual Oshkosh Reception! This complimentary event is from 17:30 - 19:30 at the Boeing Chalet, located in the Boeing Plaza at EAA AirVenure.

Congratulations to Scholarship and Grant Recipients
As of July, the ISTAT Foundation has awarded 53 students—out of 83 applicants—scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year. Students come from 18 countries and a total of $434,000 USD was awarded. An additional $16,000 USD will be gifted to 16 students at the end of the year as part of the Norman C.T. Liu Greater China Scholarship. View the recipients.
In addition, 13 aviation-focused organizations were able to deliver on their missions and strengthen their futures through inspiration and education with the help of $120,000 USD from the ISTAT Foundation Grants Program. View the recipients.

ISTAT U 2.0 – Applications Open
The application for the 2019 ISTAT U 2.0 program (online version) is now available to qualified, current students at universities around the world. ISTAT U is a specially designed one-year (six credit hour or global equivalent) aviation finance and leasing program. Admission requirements and application instructions are available online. The deadline for students to apply for enrollment is Friday, 30 August.

ISTAT Humanitarian Grants – Applications Open
The Foundation provides humanitarian grants to global charities that are designed to help save lives, promote human welfare and alleviate suffering by way of air transportation. Rolls-Royce Appraiser Continuing Education
ISTAT Certified Appraisers attended Rolls-Royce Appraiser Updates in Derby, England, and Reston, Virginia, to receive updates on Rolls-Royce engines, and discuss engine valuations.
ISTAT EMEA Appraiser Continuing Education
A half-day visit to MTU's facility in Ludwigsfeldein will be the IAP's Continuing Education at ISTAT EMEA. IAP members will get a behind the scenes look of engine maintenance and the "shop." The “shop” is MTU's center of excellence for business and regional jets, and services for Pratt & Whitney PT6A, PW200, PW300 and PW500, and GE CF34 engines. It also boasts a new high-tech logistics center.
Lunch will be provided and the tour duration includes the travel time. IAP members will receive invites to register.
