Important Information About the 2019 ISTAT Board of Directors Election
Dear ISTAT members,
In anticipation of the 2019 ISTAT Board of Directors election, please take a moment to review the following information as the voting process has changed.
Voter Eligibility
To qualify as an eligible voter, you must be a current ISTAT member in good standing for the 2019 membership year. ISTAT conference attendance is no longer required to be considered an eligible voter.
If you have not yet renewed your membership for 2019 and would like to do so, please contact ISTAT at istat@istat.org.
How to Vote
Online voting will be available beginning at 10:00 AM ET on Monday, 25 February and will close at 2:00 PM ET on Monday, 11 March.
Ballots will no longer be cast via the ISTAT website using an email address, as in the past. Eligible voters will receive an email from ISTAT on Monday, 25 February that contains specific instructions about how to use a uniquely assigned link and access key to cast a ballot. Please note that because the voting process has changed, voting kiosks will no longer be available onsite at ISTAT Americas.
Ten (10) candidates will be presented on the ballot in random order. All candidates are members in good standing who satisfy the ISTAT bylaws criteria for individuals that may serve as ISTAT Directors.
You may select up to four (4) candidates to serve on the board from March 2019 until March 2023. One ballot submission will be accepted per ISTAT member.
If you need your ballot re-sent to you once voting becomes available, please contact ISTAT at istat@istat.org. A membership help desk will also be available at ISTAT Americas to answer questions onsite.
