NASA’s X-59 Low Boom Flight Demonstrator (LBFD) is expected to first fly next year with public low boom demonstrations in the following years. Exosonic is planning to introduce supersonic overland transportation using similar low boom technology. Exosonic’s CEO, Norris Tie, will discuss overland transportation development and progress. Exosonic’s Head of Aero and Boom, John Morgenstern, (and former Lockheed Martin X-59 Head of Shaped Boom) will provide a Low Boom 101 overview of how the technology works and how low airport noise and emissions will also be incorporated.
