ISTAT Foundation Receives $25,000 Donation from Airbus Americas
CHICAGO (May 31, 2018) - The lSTAT Foundation is pleased to announce that Airbus
Americas has donated $25,000 to the Foundation.
The ISTAT Foundation supports individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism. This donation will support the Foundation's five giving programs: scholarships, internships, grants, humanitarian aid and ISTAT University. Airbus Americas Chairman and CEO, Jeff Knittel also recently announced a personal contribution to the ISTAT Foundation.
With more than 5,000 employees, Airbus Americas is the U.S.-based operation of Airbus, encompassing the regional corporate offices, engineering centers, training facilities, MROs and spare parts distribution centers, as well as manufacturing facilities producing commercial aircraft, helicopters and satellites.
"The ISTAT Foundation is incredibly thankful for the donation from Airbus Americas," commented Jep Thornton, ISTAT Foundation Chairman. "This donation will help us continue the good work of the Foundation as we advance the future of commercial aviation.".
