Announcing the New Executive Committee
In compliance with the ISTAT bylaws, ISTAT’s 2021 Officer elections have been conducted and the following individuals have been elected to serve a two-year term on ISTAT’s Executive Committee following ISTAT Americas in March 2021. This election resulted in two females being elected to the executive committee for the first time in ISTAT’s history.

Jetran Golf Tournament benefiting the ISTAT Foundation
Thank you to Jetran for their continued support of the ISTAT Foundation! A total of $100,000 was raised at their annual golf tournament at Horseshoe Bay Resort in Horseshoe Bay, Texas on 8 November.
A 2019 ISTAT Foundation Scholarship Recipient Emma Keller of Oklahoma State University and ISTAT Foundation Trustee Andy La Stella were there to accept the donation.

The ISTAT Foundation Internship Portal is open for ISTAT members to post 2020 summer internships and graduate placements. We encourage companies to post open positions on the portal as soon as possible to ensure interest from the best candidates.
The ISTAT Foundation’s Internship Program acts as an intermediary between ISTAT member companies and students seeking aviation internships. Through the use of a web portal, qualified students and employers are able to match the right skills, background and interests with corporate internships. Placed interns who qualify will receive a stipend from the ISTAT Foundation to cover qualified housing and travel expenses of up to $2,500. Click here to learn more.

Continuing Education
In October, 21 IAP members visited the Pratt & Whitney engine manufacturing facility in Middletown, Connecticut, where they explored the geared turbofan production line for the A320neo family of aircraft and an engine test stand. The following day, members participated in program reviews of V2500, PW2000/PW4000 and the GTF, plus an update on EngineWise Services.
